The water on the screen made it look like the sideline reporter had a hickey while interviewing the Auburn coach.

Go Colorado.

Utes now up 31-7.

The 12 funniest post-Bama loss tweets: https://www.google.c...rn-01dtzem0nysn

The funniest thing is Saban's whining about not being given more time to get players off the field when none of them were making a move toward the bench, not that anyone in their right mind thought they were going to run a play.

That was a cold game but the Utes are now PAC 12 Southern Champions (2 years in a row) :dweez: Look out Ducks, here we come  :madra:

Nick Satan Saban is whining about an "unfair" play against Auburn. Sore loser.

You lost, suck it up.

Nah, that's just good coaching by Malzahn. And most attentive of Auburn QB Bo Nix to point out the 11 men in the picture (not including the punt receiver). Brilliant!

Perhaps the ejection rate has gotten even higher this season?

Which Universities Have The Highest Fan Ejection Rate In College Football?

College football is the most exciting sport in the country due to the explosive nature of the game. The fan bases are also a big part of the game’s excitement with their deafening crowd noises and cheers. Some fans go a little further than others by getting themselves thrown out of the game.

https://www.kgw.com/...games/486324488"]According to KGW8, the University of South Carolina has the highest fan ejection rate with almost one fan being ejected out of 1,000. Wisconsin has the second highest rate in the nation at .72 fan ejections per 1,000 fans. Pac-12 rivals Oregon and Oregon State are the only other universities that have a fan ejection rate over .5 ejections per 1,000 fans at .56.

The high ejection rate of South Carolina fans is quite alarming as Williams-Brice Stadium is one of the bigger stadiums in the country with a capacity of 80,250. That means around 74 fans are ejected every game if the stadium is filled to capacity.

For comparison, Nebraska has the fifth highest fan ejection at .37 and would only kick out around 33 fans per game.

South Carolina fans do have a reputation for being bad fans as they threw trash at Clemson players during the 2017 Battle of the Palmetto State. The fans were also seen flipping off the Clemson players before throwing the trash at the players. It is most likely that many of those fans were ejected from the game, but they should not have thrown stuff onto the field in the first place.

Their own players could have been injured because of the flying debris, not to mention the Clemson players. Fans can be passionate about their teams, but they have to have a little bit of self-control when they support their teams. South Carolina fans are clearly quite passionate about the Gamecocks and are hoping for a better season in 2019.

South Carolina fans booed their own quarterback Jake Bentley during the 2018 season, so they are unafraid to go after their own players. The Gamecocks will need the support of their fans if they want to improve on their 7-6 season in 2018.

Maybe they're displaced idiots from Philadelphia or just idiots in general. I'd wager lots of alcohol is involved and some of them are even proud of their actions and the result.

No playoff appearance for Pac 12.

Looks like the playoff will consist of Ohio State, LSU, Clemson, and either Georgia or the winner of the Oklahoma/Baylor game.

The PAC shouldn't be in. Not that it matters. The four team college "playoff" is a joke, really.

I don't know why you hate it so much. Sure, it isn't perfect, but it is much better system for determining an overall champion than the old polling system used to be.

I don't agree with that. Because of the vast disparities in season schedules, determining a truly merit-based "national champion" is impossible. At least the old system was fun and made for good debate. This system is a bore and has ruined the bowl season and made tge regular season less interesting, imo.

But I still enjoy PAC12 conference football. Oregon showed last night why it's such a fun conference.

Something had to be sacrificed in order to have a National Playoff. The old Bowl Game tradition had to go, as it was standing fully in the way of a playoff system.

I agree that the current system needs improvement, but I saw nothing "fun" about the endless debates over who was "truly #1". It was a waste of time and energy, and the only ones who profited from the endless debates were the sports media and their talking heads.

You have described why the old polling system was a complete farce.

The current system is much more likely to get it right. Surely you have to admit that the best team in the country, whoever that may be, is going to be included in the 4 teams selected for the playoff.

It seems so bizarre to me for anybody to argue that the old polling system was better that I wonder if you are really being serious.

Indeed, what was so "fun" about a completely farcical system? It wasn't "fun", it was just a really bad joke,

The solution is ridiculously simple. Take the Big 5 conference champions and the 3 next best teams.

How do they determine who the 3 "best" teams are?

Pretty much the same way they do it now.

Good game between Okla and Baylor.

Okla fans now need to root for LSU today.

It's just nice to be able to watch an SEC championship and not see the devil on the sidelines.
