Prince's guitar solo on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' from the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony.

Just unreal, every time I watch it. When I went to the RRHOF summer b4 last, we were in a wonderfully acoustic room watching a film on the museum and they played that clip at concert level on a spectacular sound system. Just awesome. Dude could've been Jimi 2.0 had he decided to do hard rock and focused on guitar. Even tho that's the music I far prefer, his ability to do any and every thing and do it to an incredible level was more impactful than being the 2nd coming of Hendrix.

Todd Rundgren's Utopia - Caravan

I like the guitar solos from Rundgren beginning at 2:48 and the last one at 5:06.

The interplay between Rundgren and keyboardist/vocalist Roger Powell (where he does his own solos) is great as well.

Scorpions - Seas of Charon

Megadeth - Hangar 18

Van Halen - Somebody get me a doctor

and something a little different for a solo but still very enjoyable...

Rush - Afterimage

Not sure if it counts by Nothing to it by Doc Watson as well even though it's an instrumental!

Pretty much everything Clapton does on this but if I have to pick one it would be Steppin' Out ...... but then again Have You Heard is damn fine also ....

One Prince solo I've always loved is the closing track on ATWIAD. He could shred when he wanted to.
