I don't know the Taylor Swift album, but the Outkast and Kendrick albums are classics...even though I prefer ATLiens and Good Kid . A Kanye album would've really rustled some jimmies. If I kept going I might've put GZA's Liquid Swords on here. Hands down my favorite rap album of all time.

I should've put down My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. People who've never listened to Kanye would be in outrage, and people who only like old Kanye would be in outrage for a completely different reason.

Enter The 36 Chambers would've been another solid choice.

50. The Bob Seger System - The Bob Seger System (bka Rambin' Gamblin' Man, aka Tales of Lucy Blue.)

Seger's first album, which per the back cover was going to be called "Tales of Lucy Blue 'until I realized Lucy Blue was a ramblin gamblin man. Thank you Dr. Fine!' " The front cover of the second version of the album had "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" printed on it in black, but the original first version (which I own) did not.

Yeah I'm a born and raised Detroiter, and some of you think Seger's later music isn't so great.

Suck it. RGM ROCKS!

I'm not gonna read this whole thread, but whomever put Kendrick Lamarr and Taylor Swift on the list, should be banned for life from this, a RUSH messageboard.

I believe those were somewhat troll replies. They're were just trying to add something different than the same albums that always get the attention here. Both of them knew full well when they posted that there was no chance of those albums getting past the first round of eliminations.

It says TRF's top 120.

I am part of this forum.

Taylor Swift released my favourite album of 2012.

It's valid.

Also Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is one pf the greatest albums released this century, hands down.

Believe it or not To Pimp A Butterfly is ranked the 41st album of all time on RateYourMusic.

Also Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is one pf the greatest albums released this century, hands down. Just because you don't like rap doesn't mean it's automatically bad. Everyone has a right to post whatever albums they like, otherwise I wouldn't have started the thread with A Night At The Opera, nor would I have put down my album of the year from last year that nobody here listens to.

I actually do like some rap. Mostly stuff from the Yo! MTV Raps era (I know, showing my age). Public Enemy, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, and Whodini to name a few.

It's valid.

Also Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is one pf the greatest albums released this century, hands down.

Believe it or not To Pimp A Butterfly is ranked the 41st album of all time on RateYourMusic.

Why would that surprise me? It's an all time classic. It doesn't take more than a couple listens to realize it's as well constructed and sequenced as a The Wall.

Btw, why 120 choices?

Are you going to separate them into 3 groups of 40 in the next poll?

Yeah, 120 is the max number of items to be put into a poll on TRF because there's a max of three polls per thread and each poll has a max of 40 options.

Jesus blue jumping....

No steely dan?

Major ball shave there.

We're being edgy. Didn't you get the non-corporate memo?

But seriously, some albums like Dan's Aja or Zep IV don't really need to be included. They transcend ranking of this kind.
