Boots
I like Tesla. I really can't stand Tom Kiefer's voice. He sounds like he smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day for 20 years.
Fordgalaxy
Edison's Medicine is one of the greatest songs to come out of that era, imo.

RUSHHEAD666
I saw KIX, TESLA and GREAT WHITE back in the day. Great White headlined. TESLA kicked everyone in the ass that night. It was The Great Radio Controversy Tour. Throughout the years I became friends with Tesla through my Y&T connection and a connection with one of my best friends who used to sing in Tesla before they were famous. They are all great guys. That being said after "BUST A NUT" I'm pretty much over TESLA. I am reluctantly seeing them in June with Poison but it's a free ticket and I might get backstage. As for Cinderella, I saw them open for Bon Jovi on the "Slippery When Wet" Tour. Cinderella blew Bon Joke-I away!!! I'm going with Cinderella here because I like the way the band evolved to a more hard rock blues sound.

JohnRogers
Tesla, based on slightly better vocal styling and slightly deeper lyrics.

thirteen
I've never heard Tesla. As for Cinderella, I saw them open for Bon Jovi on the "Slippery When Wet" Tour. Cinderella blew Bon Joke-I away!!! I'm going with Cinderella here because I like the way the band evolved to a more hard rock blues sound. I had Night Songs on cassette as a kid. Loved that album & Tom Keifer's vocals.Afterwards Tom Keifer became Tom Keifer-Mellencamp
Lucas
Tesla is OK, but Cinderella is unfairly brushed aside because they had a glam image .. They were / are a great band I was thinking about Tom Keifer when Janis Joplin was brought up the other day Great great cover
theredtamasrule
As for Cinderella, I saw them open for Bon Jovi on the "Slippery When Wet" Tour. Cinderella blew Bon Joke-I away!!! f**k yes! I saw that tour also and there was some serious fücking hairspray in that arena (btw...I love how my phone autocorrected to "fücking"...). I was 14 with my girlfriend and her giant hair making out and feeling boobs so I don't really remember much about the show.

Leanne
Both bands. I still love listening to their music. I've seen Tesla a couple times and they are great in concert. I've never seen Cinderella, however, Tom Keifer will be here Friday night.
blueschica
I'm similar to Leanne- I didn't vote because I've always liked both bands a lot. Love Tesla's Psychotic Supper album with "Edison's Medicine" and "Call It What You Want" , but I always thought Cinderella's Long Cold Winter was quite good with "Gypsy Road" and "Last Mile". Never understood why they weren't bigger.

Screw the Rush prog snobs on here. Shallow minded intellectual liberal lunatics!! The melodic hard rock guitar solos are gone! People make fun of C.C. Deville. The guy is a classically trained guitarist. People have given me shit on here for my passion and love for HAIR METAL NATION for 11 years! BRING IT ON! I WILL NEVER CHANGE! I'm one of the "COOL KIDS" on here! Signed, KIX Edited May 31, 2017 by RUSHHEAD666
