Principled Man
How do you know when you're dead? When I sneak into the house at 3 am, but step on the cat's tail and wake up the wife.....

J2112YYZ
I don't know. It seems that some know when they're dead while others still wander the earth in spirit form and have no idea they passed on. My friend has died before and lived to tell about it. He has had heart problems since birth. He was born with an accelerated heart beat and has taken medication his whole life. About ten years ago he started having some issues with his heart and went to the hospital. While there he ended up dying three times. He doesn't remember anything except things going completely black and then him coming to with medical staff around him. Now that doesn't mean nothingness awaits us on the other side. He may have not been dead long enough to make the full transition over. But his account is all I have to go on when it comes to what might happen after our bodies are no more. I do hope that there is something after this life. I like to think our spirits still stay alive in some way after we're gone. My friend got a pacemaker put in after that and quit smoking. He's been in good shape ever since and is still with us.

Nova Carmina
Whatever the change is, it'd better be noticeable. It always makes me nervous going someplace new when they don't have proper signage and directions. Then again, if Hell is other people, maybe one wakes up one day to find it's nothing but hostile message boards about Boy Bands . . . .
