New_World_Man
I suppose if I could only pick two I would say Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves. CoS and FBN are pretty similar to each other also though.

BenjaminW
I want to say Moving Pictures and Signals but I'm not entirely sure about that one.

Entre_Perpetuo
Rush albums and understood best in pairs. Rush and FBN CoS and 2112 AFTK and Hems PeW and MP Signals and p/g (these two might be the least similar out of all the pairs) PoW and HYF Presto and RTB CP and T4E then it breaks down a little VT SnA and Feedback CA For my money, probably the most similar pair is PoW and HYF, with Presto and RTB and with PeW and MP and with CP and T4E close behind. Maybe toss in AFTK and Hems as well, though I think AFTK has a much rawer and more organic sound in general while Hems is much more polished and soft. Then again they have a ton in common too, so what do I know? I also think PeW and Signals are really similar, and PoW is a type of Hems in my mind.

rolemodlin
To me it's Power Windows and Hold Your Fire but I can see the case for A Farewell To Kings and Hemispheres. If backed into a corner I could probably even go with Counterparts and Test For Echo.
theredtamasrule
Presto & RTB...eerily similar in that both albums blow goats, are rife with bland pop ambitions and are generally uninspired "our record deal says we have to make another album" repetitive globs of boredom. In other words: they both suck. A lot. Hand Over Fist...'nuff said. Sincerely, Nerutotica, chaotica, suckalotica...oooohhhh ohhhhhh ohhhhh

New_World_Man
Presto and RtB are pretty smiliar in that they are both moving away from the synth driven sound of the few before them but not quite back to their heavy power trio roots which they would explore on CP.
JARG
Starting with Snakes, all the songs sound like they came from the same crappy album.
treeduck
I'd say :rush: and Roll the Bones are damn near identical. I don't know how they got away with releasing that album again. :smoke:
lifeson90
Yeah is good question coz this band dont do same thing twice really, i'd go for Presto/RTB too - major differences but as close as Rush get to similarity in MY OWN PERSONAL VIEW
