Airbag by Radiohead

Nice, one of my... Top 25(?) favorite songs by Radiohead ;)

Yeah, Radiohead is an embarrassment of riches. Other Radiohead songs I could have used: Subterranean Homesick Alien, How to Disappear Completely, I Might Be Wrong, Knives Out, and There There. Airbag just edged them. Dear Prudence just edged Tomorrow Never Knows, Promise Me just edged Wish You Were Here, Twist just edged Red Barchetta, Procession just edged Over the Hills and Far Away, etc. There, I snuck in a second list of five, plus some. Thanks!

Two songs from Amnesiac? Nice, always good to see another Radiohead fan, but an Amnesiac fan? Even better :D

^ Glad to see another who appreciates the sublime beauty of Amnesiac  . Oddly enough, its my favorite after OKC. Apart from the take it or leave it third track, love it all. The B-sides (Cuttooth, Fog, Kinetic, etc.) are great too. Edited by Rutlefan

Not a fan of Pulk? I can understand that, but I love it. Total bliss to the ears.

5/5 Amnesiac songs: Pyramid, Pulk, Wrong, Dollars, Glasshouse

The rest are 4/5

It's my favorite Radiohead album of all because it's very rewarding to listen to the whole thing through and I never feel like skipping a single track.

fun thread!

today:

Can't Explain - The Who - great energy

Hot Love - Cheap Trick - lots of fun energy on this one too. stupid lyrics and a bass that sounds like a piano being hit by a hammer. rawk!

Long Long Long - The Beatles - beautiful

St. Elmo's Fire - Brian Eno - perfect rainy day song. cool Robert Fripp solo

A newly discovered one which I'm really enjoying just for the hope in it, is Lindsey Buckingham's Turn It On.

Gets me every time.

'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald'

after that, what else matters?

I have a buddy who used to go to this sports bar near his apartment that had The Wreck on their jukebox. When he was ready to leave, he would put $5 in the Juke box, and play that song 10 times, and then go home.

Voodoo Chile - SRV (his cover is better than Hendrix IMO).

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - Elton John

Excellent!

I love this song. When I was a boy I always thought this was The Beatles.

I always thought the actual title was "Don't Let Your Son Go Down On Me."

This isn't easy but lets give this a try:

Natural Science - Rush

Debonair - The Afghan Whigs

Oblivion - Mastodon

Drive That Fast - Kitchens of Distinction

Unsung - Helmet

Honorable mention...cuz I want to include it, but I can't remove one of those five songs. The Creeper - Pelican.

Pearl Jam's Yellow Ledbetter is a song I might include. How it was left off their debut is just... :eh:

Dont you mean their cover of Hey Joe?

You mean Little Wing?

At least it wasn't 'let's get physical' by Olivia Neutered John.
