When this song came out, I went from being a fan wondering if she was as good as I thought she was to, "oh, okay, she has more potential than I ever realised!". I do think it’s very good, but it sags in the middle for me a bit. Great start and ending, and a few moments in between come close. I prefer to engage with artists on my own terms rather than just through hype, and I still remember listening to folklore around when it came out and just feeling uninterested by it.
