greyfriar
That's it folks. The horrible news out of the AC/DC camp continue. It's officially confirmed that Axl Rose is their new singer. WTF??? http://consequenceof...dcs-new-singer/
Ancient Ways
Doesn't it just say he's helping them finish up this tour? Doesn't sound like the commitment goes any further than that.
J2112YYZ
No big deal. They needed a big name to finish the remaining tour dates and they got one. I doubt Axl's involvement in the band goes further than that.

HemiBeers
Is it time to take bets when he has the first temper tantrum and quits before the tour is over? My bet is 5 shows max, then he quits. My God, the incoming stage debris will be overwhelming. Edited April 17, 2016 by 2112FirstStreet
fraroc
I'm just waiting to see how long Angus tolerates Axl's antics. Ten bucks they'll be either begging Brian to come back or they'll get a newer, better singer.

If people are gonna make jokes about him at least make sure they aren't so outdated that they lack any relevancy. foghorn-leghorn
I agree with fraroc. AC/DC are a well run operation on tour. Angus would freak out if the singer turned up late, or disrupted the show in any way. It will be a miracle if the tour goes as planned.
LedRush
For the first time in well over 30 years AC/DC might do something interesting.

Turbine Freight
They should've got Jimmy Barnes in to finish the tour. Of the three people I know who are going to the Manchester show, two are asking for refunds on their tickets because fatboy got the gig. I haven't spoken to the third yet. This appointment is generally going down like a brick budgie.
treeduck
How can Axl be the new AC/DC singer if he's busy being in the reformed "original" Guns N Roses line-up??

Both bands take forever to come out with new material so he should be able to pace himself out just fine.

Wow; I didn't know that. That's a shame. :( It is. And I am sure they wouldn't have hired Axl if they weren't 100% sure he couldn't master the live shows. Many fools have made good of themselves in the long run. He may just be a good egg.

Lucas
Brian Johnson is 68 years old .. Even if he were to remain with the band, at the earliest a new album would be out when he is 70 70 years old When I first saw AC/DC on The Midnight Special in 1978, it never entered into the equation that this band would eventually have guys in their 70s There comes a time when reality must set in and things need to be put into perspective I loved them with Bon, and Angus is a one of a kind ... But he looks ridiculous in that uniform now, with the hat covering up a bald head
