Sigh........just retire Neil. end the idiocy.

Mick

Yeah, so we can get back to more important topics on this forum.

Like what Decade Permanent waves is from.

Mick

If that question is ever answered to everyone's satisfaction, the forum will close

He's retired. Period. Accept it. It's not the end of the world.

Right. And completely ignore the media circus that surrounds this whole thing. Seriously, every major music magazine/site is covering this, to the point that satire sites are now piling on. And you think we shouldn't discuss it here?

From what I see

Least Likely: Neil will un-retire completely and is willing to tour again.

Most Likely: Neil is semi-retired and is willing to record with Rush.

Somewhat Likely: Neil is totally retired and will never play drums professionally again.

Absolutely likely: You will be unsatisfied and feel betrayed no matter what happens.

Bobby Heenan would say 1980 just to piss you off. He is the patron saint on 1980 being the release of Permanent Waves.

And oh yeah a decade is defined by both Websters and Oxford Dictionaries as a span of years starting with '00 and ending with '09.

How about a two state solution...those smart enough to know it's a 70s album stay here....those who aren't and think it's an 80s album are exiled to Counterparts, where there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth...

Bobby Heenan was only to be used in relation to Bard.

"For all you poor humanoids out there: comparing Hogan to Flair is like comparing a ham sandwich to prime rib! AND, Peart is done!"
