Which underrated album cut from this period do you favor? I adore both of these, but I think we all know where my vote lies. Edited by Entre_Perpetuo

AFTK.

None of the songs off the second side of 2112, as great as they are, match up to anything on AFTK. Madrigal included (I adore how it segues perfectly into Cygnus X1).

I adore both of these songs, as I said, but AFTK has a little more to adore.

AFTK. It has to be or that thing on my arm means nothing... :madra:

But I love, love Something For Nothing too. Studio or live doesn't matter

Not even close. Something For Nothing is a real beauty, both studio and ATWAS.

AFTK's alright but not as good as anything on Hemispheres, or half of what's on 2112.

Wow tough choice. I will vote something for nothing, but easily could go either way

Just for the record I am enjoying all the love the title track is getting. Warms my heart to be honest. I have always loved it obviously... :)

Not that I don't love Something For Nothing, but I vote A Farewell to Kings, without hesitation. Edited by Blue J

Something for Nothing, far and away. A Farewell to Kings just doesn't do it for me.

This required some thought

Love both

But the version of Something For Nothing on disc 3 of Different Stages with Neil's tubular bells in the beginning is a favorite of mine

Close, but Something For Nothing

With tubular bells at the start? Wow...I need to hear this.
