Once again, my strawberry yogurt pales before your meals. :(

But I'll be making my pumpkin cheesecake tomorrow, so lunch time is looking up for me!

no need to show the same picture twice. ;)

There you go, showing off your member title again! :)

That sure is purdy.

I wanted to show off again :P

I originally made it with glass-noodles (I'm doing a direct translation here) and shrimps. Made a dressing of fish sauce, lime juice, garlic and ginger.

This dish I'm showing off is turned in a dressing made of sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, fish sauce, oyster sauce, garlic and ginger. Gives it a nice sour taste with a bit of a bite ;)

My wife makes a dressing very similar to this.

BTW. I absolutely love fish sauce.

Yes, it gives the dish a nice depth. But it can also totally destroy it ;)

Leftovers: roasted root veggies with dressing (I make it with bread, celery, onions, chestnuts, spinach, apples, butter, & eggs) and maple-orange cranberry sauce.

Baked cod with leek, haricots, onion rings, chopped garlic and ginger turned in fish sauce and oyster sauce. Topped with spicy pickled cucumbers and thin peels of carrot.

Of course I had to set up my tripod and take a picture before I would eat it .

Prepared for grilling tomorrow, Lebanese garlic chicken- marinate 2 whole chicken breasts in a mix of:

2 cloves garlic, mashed with 1/2 t salt to a paste. Add to 1/2 cup EVOO, 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/2 t paprika, & 1/2 t black pepper.

That will sit until tomorrow, at which time the chicken hits the grill. The wife will make taboulli, and that will be a helluva dinner!
