MMCXII
Love the bluesy early stuff that came from some of the box sets. Also Poor Tom with that wicked Bonzo shuffle beat (which is a real challenge to do properly btw!!) Damn LOL! Guess I've already been here. Amazing how I ended up giving the same answer.. :/
MMCXII
I can remember listening to "Down by the Seaside" while pressing the headphones to my young ears trying to take in every note.. Also 'In the Light', ''Out on the Tiles'.. Man I could go on and on..

goose
Poor Tom! Such a killer drum track! ..and so hard to play properly.. I can usually learn Neil Peart's stuff if I work hard enough at it but damn I've tried so long to master 'Poor Tom' and it's just fukking impossible! I get going pretty good but once I try throwing in the highhat part it all goes to shit lol Bonham was the MASTER of groove.. Some really challenging layering of patterns.

custom55
Overlooked sounds.... Has anybody heard the phone ringing in the background on "The Ocean" ? Around 1:36 into the song. I you can hear it on vinyl but it's tough to hear on CD.

Blue J
They have all been on the radio 478,301 times. There is no such thing. You've heard the lemon song 478,301 times on the radio? Impressive. That's a lot of lemon-squeezing...and a lot of juice.

There is no such thing. You've heard the lemon song 478,301 times on the radio? Impressive. And Custard Pie, and Tea For One, and......... Wow, what third world country do you live in? I have lived in three cities over 25 years whose rock radio stations have "get the led out" and the "Led Zeppelin fix at six" or "drive at five" LZ blocks (not counting the other times during the day they might get play) and they don't just play the same five songs. So yes, all of those...a ton each. That's not even a rarity. They easily are the most played band in classic rock radio history. No deep cuts from any band really.
