Overlooked Led Zeppelin Songs

Don't know if someone beat me to this, or if I already posted this back in 2014, but I've always thought Poor Tom is an amazing tune that doesn't as much attention that it might of it had been on III, for example.

:goodone: In general, the songs off CODA are under-loved.

Longingly,

Darlene.

Love the bluesy early stuff that came from some of the box sets. Also Poor Tom with that wicked Bonzo shuffle beat (which is a real challenge to do properly btw!!)

IV STICKS. Terrific song.

Yep. One of their most psychedelic moments as well.

And it's the only song on the fourth album that I could never learn to play, on the drums.

You probably know this but I think it's actually played with 4 sticks

So how are you guys tracking on buying the remastered albums? I got II, Physical Grafitti, Presence and will get Coda today. Sadly, ITTOD was not released in Brazil, so I'll have to find another way of getting it...

I'll name 5 (I am a fanatical Zep fan by the way).

Five that I love, but might be considered sub-par:

Livin Lovin Maid

Boogie With Stu

Hot Dog

Out on the Tiles

Tea For One

Five that I love, that are for the most part considered solid, but not played all that much

Tangerine

Dancin Days

In the Light

Black Country Woman

The Lemon Song

Poor Tom!

Such a killer drum track! ..and so hard to play properly.. I can usually learn Neil Peart's stuff if I work hard enough at it but damn I've tried so long to master 'Poor Tom' and it's just fukking impossible! I get going pretty good but once I try throwing in the highhat part it all goes to shit lol

Bonham was the MASTER of groove..
