Five Sickest Scenes in the History of Film

With Human Centipede 3 on the way, why not count down some of the sickest moments in cinema. Let me assert that these scenes are not ones that want to make you want to hurl (though you will experience that too, probably) as much as disturb you morally.

So... Let's go.

5. The Toxic Avenger (1985)

Wow, this scene is surprising to anyone. Even if you've been exposed to a lot, the thought of this scene is just unsettling.

The early body building antagonists in The Toxic Avenger are sadistic, and take complete joy in running over innocent people in their car. They even have a point system set up. The younger and more helpless the victim, the more points they get. Obviously a completely fictional situation since those with antisocial personality probably wouldn't prioritize human life this way. Anyways, here we see them tease, then ram into a kid on a bike. He survives the impact, just barely, and that's not good enough for these creeps. They put it in reverse and run the kids head over, SPLAT. Now, the women get out of the car and laugh as they take pictures of their latest kill.

Pretty bad stuff, but we have some ways to go.

4. A Clockwork Orange (1971)

Not a horror film, but how could this scene not make it? A break-in, destruction and abuse, and then finally a handicapped man has his wife raped right in front of his eyes. This isn't shown, but isn't the thought enough after seeing what lead up to it? And during all of this, Alex is joyously singing in the rain...

3. Cannibal Holocaust (1979)

This film adapted a POV style, and while it may be annoying in films today, it was uncommon back then, this film pioneered in it. Because of this, many people thought the film was not at all fictional, and director Ruggero Deodato almost ended up with a life in prison sentence. No joke.

And there's no joke about this scene either, because unlike the humans in this film, all the animals you see die, actually die. That includes the 4 minutes scene where they slice upon and take apart a sea turtle. This scene is just brutal. One of the actresses hurls, and I'm pretty sure she actually did to, it wasn't acting.

2. A Serbian Film (2011)

The ending scene... The protagonist Mitos, who I ended up fearing more than anyone else in the film, rapes his own son while his brother rapes Mitos' wife. They are all masked so, Mitos is unaware of what his happening, but his brother isn't. The masks are taken off and shit hits the fan. Mitos kills the directors of the porn flick, the strongest of the three he kills by stabbing him with dick. Yep.

Lost? Sorry, I don't want to put too much effort in explaining this scene.

Him, his wife, and his son make it out ok... Physically that is. Mentally? They're traumatized, especially Mitos. So he decides to shoot a bullet through all three of them, committing a tri-suicide. Film ends.

1. The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) (2013 - 2014?)

The third film will feature a human centipede of more than 500 people. Enough said.

However, all of these scenes I have posted in this list should be equally disturbing morally. A director can take it to any extreme they'd like, but it proves to be some sort of act for shock and reaction. And director Tom Six has made this clear, he openly loves the attention and reactions. I could have composed this list of completely different scenes from several other films. I've heard of them all, seen many... Trust me. It wouldn't make a difference.

Some films, listed even on IMDB and RT, are essentially snuff films. Public domain footage of suicide, death, murder, etc, composed into a feature length film. I'm not going to list what these films are called, and I will not watch them.

There's some sick stuff out there, and it's piled in with the same genre as films by Dario Argento.

Not sure what I'm getting at here myself, other than that people are going to keep trying to take it to the next level in the shock genre... But the line has been crossed long ago and all this 1uping is for the most part pointless.

But, to be honest, Human Centipede is unique. I look forward to Human Centipede III. I can't wait to see it. I'd like to see this series come to an end, how it will make an impact on the screen and in the news, etc.

Well, there's my ramble.

I read the wiki on it, and I'm going to have to pass on looking at it. It's sounds gross enough - I'll take your word for it.

Is that the girl who gets impaled???

AVANTI! RUN!!! :outtahere:

The girl who got impaled sat on a bike seat and held a pole in her mouth. Pretty talented.

It was one of the tribeswoman who it happened to.

:scared: that was brutal.. Cannibal Holocaust was the worst. I had to exit halfway it was so bad.

And that tells me, maybe this sort of content is a bit over the top for this board? Opinions?

Yes, I absolutely agree. Maybe if it wasn't this scene, but if a director almost got prison time, I wouldn't suggest posting a graphic clip from that movie.

Antichrist

There is a scene near the end of Antichrist that would unsettle most anyone. A woman uses a pair of scissors to mutilate her own genitalia. I'm not worried about spoiling it for anyone because I imagine not many would want to see such a thing. I watched it not knowing it was coming and it was just painful to see. Porn actors were used for some very graphic sex scenes and there are extremely weird scenes of animals. Not for the faint of heart. The above link does not show any of that, but even the trailer is not for the kids.

What about the chainsaw scene from Scarface...pretty sick

Good call, that scene is psychologically traumatic imo.

Many scenes in the texas chainsaw massacre shocked me, one being where leatherface just slammed the steel door shut, after clubbing a guy.

just FYI no one HAS to watch a scene from a movie called cannibal holocaust that is already in a thread for disturbing movie scenes

anyway, if you people want a disturbing movie that's actually pretty good, watch henry: portrait of a serial killer. loosely based off of the relationship between actual serial killers henry lee lucas and otis toole, it's packed full of disturbing gut-wrenching scenes, but it's also a very good movie that doesn't rely on cheap gross out factor
