TRF Software Update Updates

So yeah, today didn't go as planned.

 

We started the software upgrade process early this morning, and about three hours ago it just froze up, so we had to start it over. But then we figured, by the time it was finished and we got the skin finished and the settings all set and the DNS switched over and all that crap, it would be late tomorrow morning, and both me and the server tech have to work all day tomorrow. In fact, the tech is going away tomorrow for a week.

 

So, we reopened this old rickety board, and we'll try the update again next weekend. Sorry for having the place closed all day for nothing.

I wasn't looking forward to losing my old fave standby original skin, so at least I get that for a little while longer.

 

Care to give us any hints on what the new board will hold in store for us?

In the meantime I was unaware of updates until the site was down earlier today, so I'm somewhat happy to get one last chance to say goodbye to our old gal!

I was thinking of making a skin similar to the original skin, for old times sake. I'll try it if I have time.

 

I can tell you the new skins will be very clean and easy on the eyes.

There will eventually be a blue and grey skin. That will be the second one I do. The first will be a burgundy and beige (more like champagne, actually), but the colors will be more subdued and easy on the eyes.

The goal is clean and simple on all skins.   CP's CA skin is pretty cool, I think. We're not going for any album-related skins here, though the new main logo has a subtle CA reference in it.
