Some people wanted way too much for 40 year old records in awful shape, but I found a couple good ones for $4. Kansas - Leftoverture Fleetwood Mac - Rumours My gf also gifted me a cheap copy of Metallica - Ride the Lightning from Walmart I have Leftoverture and a copy of Ride The Lightning from Walmart. Is yours "Lightning Blue"?

When I first started collecting I always found great deals at flea markets and thrift stores. I own quite a few $2-$5 albums that sound great! I'm meaning to hit up a used vinyl store nearby as they're pretty fair.

Yes lol. I honestly didn't expect a Metallica record to come in under $25. Usually there's a bit of a premium for them.

Super25Smasher
I found a first pressing of Fables Of The Reconstruction by R.E.M. today at a local record store. I also recently ordered I Am The Movie by Motion City Soundtrack on Epitaph Records' website. It's white with tangerine and black splatter. I couldn't insert the image, so here's the link if you want to see it. https://epitaph.store/product/23433/i-am-the-movie-lp-whitetangerineblack Edited June 1, 2023 by Super25Smasher

The Analog Cub
New Tesseract album is out. War of Being. Album absolutely RIPS. The screaming is about as strong as it was on the debut album, which I don't typically prefer, but Dan Tompkins is showing incredible vocal diversity everywhere. The bass lines are so good. The ambient stuff that they've basically trademarked hits as hard as the riffs. Every song on this album is a delight. 10/10 and easily their best, honeymoon period be damned. Sometimes you just know.
