The more announcements are made about ticket sales it seems they will go on sale during one of my finals. This is not good considering nobody I know cares enough to buy me a ticket with even a fraction of a measurable amount of perseverance to get a good ticket.

Yes...It did used to be called the Ford Amphitheatre. It now has the absolute worst name for any place on Earth...and sadly...This is where I get to see 2.gif but I have no idea what I'm going to ask Geddy.

 

Thank God the sale starts in 2 weeks so I can make plans to not be at...ya know...work...so I can buy tickets.

 

Florida is an extremely litigious state, there are more ads here for lawyers than ANYTHING!!!!! And they are ready to jump you for ANYTHING!!!! 1-800-Ask-Gary is a lawyer referral service so they have pro'ly made a killing on suckers thinking they are going to get rich by suing frivolously.

 

It's just f'n disgusting the lawyers down here.

I can attest to that. I used to live in Orlando (and years before that, Boca Raton). I actually saw The Cure play at the Ford Amphitheater back in... 2004? 2006? Something like that.

 

But yeah... the lawyers, man. There's more of 'em than roaches in that state.

as of right now Atlanta is the only show which is not listed on VIPNation.com. Which actually bodes well for fans IMO... seems as though those who plan on hitting Atlanta might actually get a fair shot at buying decent tix rather than needing to go through VIP's, platinums etc.

I don't know about that. I feel like it does not bode well. For the last several tours the best seat I've had (4th row) were from a VIP package. Every other time I tried to get tickets as soon as they went on sale and the best that came up were at least 15-20 rows back. It seems like the scalper machines scoop up the best seats when they pay regular price but not at the VIP price. I don't think scalpers want to pay $300 per ticket because their potential profit margin is much smaller. And now we don't know the exact location of the VIP tickets! How can a scalper sell those?

CRAP!!!! I am going to be on a plane to NY Monday the 7th and probably nowhere near a computer till 3 or 4 pm.

 

Well......the dream of first 10 rows via music today is gone. Normally that only happens in the first couple of hours tops.

 

Crap.

 

Well I will figure something out. I always do.

Wait a second......I will bring my Mac Book and pay to use the wifi on the plane!
