Alex's joke at the opening show made me think: At what other times has Mr. Lifeson or, better yet, Neil spoken to the crowd at a live gig? Neil doesn't even have a microphone. Did he ever? Does Alex ever exchange pleasantries? Besides backup vocals and an occasional "Subdivisions" he never seems to do any talking at all. I look forward to responses. WW

The lawn at the D.C. show was virtually empty. It almost looked closed to patrons. Other seats were full but it was bizarre. WW

Just received my tickets to the D.C. show and noticed "No Cameras Or Recording Devices" printed prominently. Is this a new policy? I've taken pictures and recorded footage at previous shows and don't recall the restriction. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. WW

Never done presale before. Can someone post the general routine? I have an account at Live Nation...anything else I should secure in advance? I want two GOOD seats at the D.C. show. Thanks. WW

Saw the band in Greensboro and agree with all positive comments. There were video problems early which were fixed. There was a noticeable delay between live action and video and between picture and sound during prerecorded segments. Such are the risks of relying on a big screen. These will probably be worked out as the tour progresses. We did notice that Neil seems to have gained weight since last year and that he appeared tired. His playing was immaculate, of course, but his demeanor was even more "down" than normal. A friend, who was seeing the band for the first time in a long time, commented on Neil's weight gain, which was apparent during his solo (and the accompanying closeup shots). Anyone else notice this? All in all, an unforgettable night with the world's greatest band. WW
