Loving the Giants and their 7.5 game lead in the NLWest too, very nice grand slam by Hunter Pence and 3 hit night by the panda last night.

CygnusGal
QUOTE (blackhawkrush @ Sep 15 2012, 05:19 PM)Boston 3 Toronto 2 Jays at 65 and 79 Today's game: Lester vs. Morrow. Lester got shelled for 11 runs the last time over 4 innings. Blue Jays are 10-7 vs. RedSox this season. Even if the RedSox finish 4th in the standings, they'll still have a losing record against the team in 5th place. Bobby V. and the RedSox have exceeded my expectations this year. I was predicting RedSox as 4th - "You're #4" as a season long chant. Correction: You're #5, you're #5... CygnusGal, again, needs to stop poking RedSox Nation! Go Pats! Principled Man
Brewers 3 Mets 0 Super-rookie Wily Peralta - 8 innings of two-hit pitching MVP Ryan Braun - Career home runs #200, 201....in only his SIXTH season.... Only TWO GAMES BACK of the wild-card spot..........incredible...!!!!!!!!!!!!
Principled Man
Brewers 6 Pirates 0 The Bucs looked absolutely flat tonight. I felt sorry for their catchers. The Brewers stole SEVEN bases. The pitchers barely looked over to 1st base, so the Brewers ran at will, and the catchers have weak arms. 13 singles for the Brewers....no problem....just steal 2nd base!!! Principled Man
Brewers 3 Pirates 1 26 straight shutout innings for the Crew. Axford just had to give up a HR to McCutchen in the 9th tonight. Pittsburgh looks completely outmatched and uninterested. Brewers 2.5 games behind St. Louis with 14 games to go....
