Only one person has said kate Bush. Sad, sad, sad.

And I'm the only one to mention Annie Haslam. Sadder, sadder, sadder.

The woman had, like, a five-and-a-half octave range.

Shirley Manson

Bilinda Butcher

Hayley Williams (haters gonna hate)

edit: one of two to mention Shirley, and only to mention Bilinda... which isn't really surprising because there are like three My Bloody Valentine fans on TRF.

I'll admit it, I love Karen Carpenter's voice. Just beautiful.

yes.gif Ditto.

I remember my family was discussing who the best female vocalists were, and I said Karen Carpenter. My older brother laughed his ass off, and made some disparaging remarks about her limited range and (alleged) inability to hold notes. Even if those things are true, I don't care. The tone of her voice is so beautiful going by.

I don't like either one of them. That being said, I agree that Karen Carpenter was amazing. Truly stellar voice.

Attempting to be critical of Karen is just trying to be a pain in the ass.

Karen Carpenter was a real class act and singer. She was a real and genuine talent.

Such a beautiful voice...
