Silas Lang
Here's how i rank these: 1.Working Man (an all-time Rush classic) 2.New World Man (why isn't this tune more appreciated?) 3.Cinderella Man 4.Digital Man (how the hell is this winning?) Mr. Not
QUOTE (Rush Cocky @ Feb 23 2010, 12:27 PM) QUOTE (Silas Lang @ Feb 23 2010, 12:21 AM) Working Man destroys all of these. Except in the poll, where it is currently running 3rd of 4. SERVED
mankad89
QUOTE (Silas Lang @ Feb 23 2010, 01:28 PM) Here's how i rank these: 1.Working Man (an all-time Rush classic) 2.New World Man (why isn't this tune more appreciated?) 3.Cinderella Man 4.Digital Man (how the hell is this winning?) Because it came out in 1982 but still sounds cool and modern, has one of the best basslines in Rush's catalogue (Alex's guitar solo is great too), is groovy as hell, and has clever lyrics. I gained a better appreciation for it, but it still falls short of the other three. Working Man is easily the best in my book, even though I like their early Eighties stuff as a whole better than their debut album.

Xanadoood
QUOTE (missionman @ Feb 25 2010, 04:05 AM) Cinderella Man  The version on Different Stages from '78 blows the doors off the studio version, and is , IMO, one of the boys best recorded moments EVER. All 3 of them are just tearing it up on this version. Brutal.

KaoKun1990
I prefer New World Man over Digital, to be honest. I've always liked it more for some reason...at any rate, I love Cinderella Man too, but NWM edges it barely.
