Probably my faviorate song off of LBS

Feel So Low

Great song. I heard a version of it live somewhere in Israel co-sung with Aviv Geffen from Blackfield. Very cool.

Just listening to the crazy drumming during Nil Recurring when I came across the tidbit:

"Gavin Harrison has been voted best progressive drummer of the year for the second year running in the highly respected Modern Drummer magazine reader's poll. Gavin also came second in the best recorded performance category for "Fear of a Blank Planet". You can find full results of the poll in the current (July 2008) issue of the magazine, which also includes a track by track feature of the FOABP album with several transcriptions, including the drum solo in "Way Out Of Here".

I've been listening to Signify a lot lately and I think it may be my favorite PT album. I don't see a lot of Signify discussion around here, though. In fact, it seems like it's hardly mentioned. unsure.gif

I think it's where they START to become interesting. That becomes something dependable on Stupid Dream. But it starts on Signify.

Agreed. Very little before Signify is of interest to me, but then again, I am not into the trance sound.

Signify is one of my favorites. Definitely a top 5 PT album for me.

Track picks: "The Sleep of No Dreaming", "Waiting (Phase One)", "Idiot Prayer", "Intermediate Jesus", "Dark Matter".

Except Up The Downstair. When he has that album, THEN he has their best albums.

Cool... I'm all about this thread!

Coma Divine is a better live album.

If you like FOABP -- get the Nil Recurring EP.

Also, if you are a fan of Floyd, The Sky Moves Sideways is a must have.

That's one I still need to get.

I also need Metanoia. Other than that I have everything commercial PT.

I recently also downloaded a boot from Dime from a show last December in Paris that is pretty good as well .

I can't spring for the $125-$600 it is ranging on at Amazon.

There is supposed to be a re-release later this year but no word from PT.com as of a date. But PT.com has confirmed that it WILL be re-released.

I heard this release. I would have to say that you need to be hard core to pay big bucks for it. I didn't care for it.

Yeah they are re-releasing this in the "fall/autumn"

I've been ordering anything I want from the web store. Luckily the local Newbury Comics(record store) carries pretty much everything.

Some of those songs have ended up on the DVD releases or the bonus discs with pre-orders.....

The only song I have heard off this release are the 3 that were on the DVDA of the "Lightbulb Sun" re-release.

I enjoyed thost 3 tracks. I just really want this release.
