'JFK: Inside The Target Car' new documentary
LoneStar Boogie replied to Jack Aubrey's topic in Video Vertigo
QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Nov 16 2008, 05:58 AM) Thanks for the notice and the PM on this, Jack. I love watching docs about the assassination, even the ones I disagree with. For those who haven't followed our JFK discussions over in SOCN: I was once a conspiracy theorist, I bought into all that Oliver Stone crap, I read a half-dozen conspiracy books... but then I did a 180. Read "Case Closed" by Gerald Posner, coupled with the virtual reality re-enactment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSBXW1-VGmM&feature=related) de-bunking the "magic bullet." Nothing magic about it at all; the single shot to Kennedy and Connally lines up perfectly. The simplest explanation is the most reasonable, which is something the conspiracy theorists don't understand. "Inside the Target Car"? The title sounds like it might be giving credence to a wacky theory that's all the rage now: that Kennedy was assassinated by an agent within his own car! Makes as much sense as the folks who thought the shots came from ground level, from a sewer grate. I work with a guy who thinks the Secret Service Agent who drove the limo turned around, while driving, and shot Kennedy in the head with a nickel-plated pistol. He says that the Zapruder Film we are all familiar with has been doctored by the government, and that the real film shows the driver with the gun. Thanks for the info, Jack. I'll try to remember to DVR this tonight. -
YES...no contest. At their best, nobody was better.

Heres a fact. If these two bands perform together, Dream Theater is the headliner, Porcupine Tree is the opening act. Fact ! Ahhh buuut but but, zip it ! Fact ! Fact: Who opens and who headlines has no bearing on who is better. Says who ? You ? It does say who has the larger fan base. I hate having to take sides on this one, but Dream Theater deserves way more respect then most on this forum give them. So defend the great artists I will !!! Larger fan base doesn't mean better, either, does it? Well Madonna is such a great artist and blows away DT. Clearly!
