I cant wait for the show--- I am totally geeked!! Anyone else from Texas headed to the show? I also talked to a scalper and he says wait a couple of weeks before getting your tickets if you havent already... It looks like there is plenty of tickets still left... Ebay's ticket seats arent that good so be patient.... I look forward to meeting up with some of you guys and enjoying a cold beer... It will be an evening filled with magic and glitter!!!!

I am in Austin, Tx Sue.. I am going to stay downtown to enjoy the Freemont Experience... It should be fun... I hope to meet up with some of you cool people and enjoy a couple of ales to cheer the inner man... Are we all going to meet at the bar right before you get into the MGM Grand? I really like the single "far cry" it seems to be really catchy.. I also have in my head that commercial with that little dog going to dog camp... Seems TX will be well represented. I'll be there with a bud (friend) who's from Dallas also. He's at the Imperial Palace with the Asians, and I'm staying at the Excalibur, which must be cheesy cause it was kinda cheap, but it's right across from the MGM so what the hell. I may have 'knights in white satin' going through my head for a couple of knights, but no biggie.

I couldn't help but chuckle when I read your post about Excalibur being cheap. I lived in Vegas for 11 years, Excalibur is one of the nicest hotels on the strip, actually one of the more expensive ones too. The deal with rooms in Vegas is, they don't want your money for the room, they want it on the tables and in the machines.

Excalibur is nice, but to call it one of the nicest hotels is a bit of a stretch. There are at least ten other resorts that are nicer within one mile.   Having said that, Excalibur is a nice hotel (just not one of the nicest). It's not like staying at hooters or the tropicana (or worse, downtown). Plus, it's a driver and a three iron away from the MGM.
