2. Neil Peart passing away

Coming out of the woodwork like a few peeps here. Just wanted to chime in with condolences to all. I'm absolutely gutted hearing this news

They are saying on the news now that some rioters who saw themselves on TV have turned themselves in to the police. Also they are getting tons of tips from the public as to the identities of these freaks. They will be treated as pariahs from now on! Once they are identified I'm sure the 50 business owners who's livelyhoods have been affected will be suing them personally for damages. The bulk of the idiots doing the most damage looked to be under 25 so that should do well to ruin the rest of their lives. I said the "bulk" of the rioters, not ALL of them. As a parent (of a 23 year old), I keep wondering how one must feel if you saw your kid on tv or in one of the horrendous photos. That would be so awful. It is very heartening to see the city come together (the normal people, anyway) and offer up support.

Wow, I am just stunned and sickened at the events that went down in Vancouver last night. What a horror show and a blight on a beautiful city Those f*ckin' idiots, I hope they get every last one of them and make them pay for their crimes. Congratulations to the Bruins, they deserved the win. They were the better team, no doubt. Canucks just didn't have the jam to get it done at the end. You can't score 8 goals in a 7-game series and expect to win. As a fan, I kept hope and faith but really, saw the writing on the wall after game 6. Canucks had the best season in their history and were a pleasure to watch all season long. For the record, I don't live in Vancouver, I live on Vancouver Island and wasn't there last night. I hope all the evidence of the rioting is gone before I go there in two weeks to see Enjoy your time Bruins fans
