Fleet Foxes- Fleet Foxes (10/10)

Top five album of the 2000s for me.

Lacuna Coil- Comalies (10/10)

I don't play Lacuna Coil much anymore, and who can blame me? I'm overly familiar with them at this point! But oh gosh, when I do play them, it all comes flooding back. Still my favourite band after all these years.

That's what happens to me with Rush. I don't listen to them too often because I know the stuff too well. It's ingrained into my being so much that the music is always with me whether no matter how infrequent my listens might be.

Rush is like that for me too.

jethro-tull-the-zealot-gene-vinyl.jpg

I have finally gotten round to listening to this.

So ..... after all these years Ian Anderson has decided to take more or less his backing band for solo albums and call them Jethro Tull.

His perogative I guess so who am I to argue......... however it smacks of a combination of ego and chasing the bucks.

So..... is it any good???

- As an Ian Anderson solo album it is ok. No better or worse than his other solo stuff.

- As a Jethro Tull album. It is sh*te.

Just let it go Ian .... leave the Jethro Tull legacy as it is without further weakening it.

Asia- Asia (7/10)

Hooky, proggy AOR alrightness.

Asia- Alpha (first time listen, kinda...)

It's...an album that sounds...okay.

Asia are pleasant, I don't dislike them at all. It's just...a bit...pedestrian.

Journey-Raised on Radio (9/10)

So this is basicaly perry solo......it slaps.

Mick

No it's like a Perry-Schon-Cain album with session drummer and bass player. The bass player is Randy Jackson of American Idol fame. Jackson did the tour as well along with I think the same drummer Larry Londin.
