Entre_Perpetuo Posted February 5, 2022 Author Posted February 5, 2022 MisterWives - SuperbloomMGMT - Little Dark Age Two albums that are basically comfort music to me to finish out my first week at a real architecture firm. I'm actually feeling so fulfilled even doing kinda starter / new hire tasks right now, just because I know my work matters and is part of a real project that's going to be built. 1

bluefox4000 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Tom Waits-Alice (8/10) I'l be honest 2000's waits is my least listened to period. Nothing about the net 3 albums ever stuck out in my mind. However Alice really surprised me. Alice and the next album are music from plays again. but unlike Black rider. Alice feels like an album. and it's got some beautiful stuff on here AliceFlower's Grave (my fav!!!)Poor EdwardTable Top JoeLost in the HarbourFish & Bird'Barcarolle it's a really delicate album. most of it is very soft and understated. it DOES have it's bizarre Tom moments but mostly it's very relaxed. bluefox4000 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Tom Waits-Real Gone (4/10) my least fav album. nothing really stands out. it all feels like one long song. points for Hoist that Rag and Sins of my Father but that's about it here. they cann't all be winners. no matter who you are, lol. bluefox4000 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Tom Waits-Bad As Me (10/10) his most recent and if it's his last what an ending!!!!! it's such a fun album. some of it has that retro 70's waits feel some is his current style. but it sounded like he said screw it i'm having fun. ChicagoRaised Right Man (such swagger on this one)Talking at the Same TimeGet lost (waits does manic rockabilly, lol)Pay MeBack in the CrowdBad As Me (my fav)Hell Broke Luce (god dam my 2nd fav, lol)New Year's Eve As i say....if this is it.....wonderful farewell.
