In Flames- Come Clarity (8/10)

Once upon a time this was one of my absolute favourite metal albums, and I could praise it forever.

Now? I'm no longer 16, I hear a lot of moments where the band sound confused as to whether they should return to death metal or chase the pop charts. Now obviously I still love this album, but it's not as focused as I remember it.

Still, this is one of my favourite In Flames albums, and it was a game changer for me back in 2006. No In Flames, no Trivium, KillSwitch Engage, Lamb Of God etc.

In Flames- The Sound Of Purpose (8/10)

The most strange discography of any band I've ever known, In Flames went from death metal titans to...this almost emo/metal hybrid perfect for fans of Linkin Park.

That they do it so well is even stranger.

Accept-Breaker(9/10)

Decided to give these guys a fair shake. i think i'm sleeping on a great rock band. this was just pure fun.

In Flames- Soundtrack To Your Escape (9/10)

Shoot me. The fanbase hates this album, I think it's close to their best.

oh yea. the vocals take getting used too. but every song is just good fun rock.

they almost remind me of retro classic Priest.

Fleet Foxes- Shore (10/10)

This might be the best album of the last five years for me.

Fleet Foxes- Fleet Foxes (10/10)

Top five album of the 2000s for me.

Lacuna Coil- Comalies (10/10)

I don't play Lacuna Coil much anymore, and who can blame me? I'm overly familiar with them at this point! But oh gosh, when I do play them, it all comes flooding back. Still my favourite band after all these years.
