I know many great guitar solos, but is there any point in me naming them? Is anyone really interested? I doubt it.

 

For me it’s a 378-way tie among 53 different artists, although some of those artists are in bands and as solo artists. Yeah yeah I can’t decide they’re all the greatest

I know it`s not all about technique and speed - although, for me it kind of is - but I`d never heard anything like this from a guitar (solo starts at 3.05 and plays out the song). I still think it`s pretty ridiculous. To think Steve nearly gave up to become a commercial airline pilot.

 

Agree with JB, it`s a tie between about 500 solos depending on mood and whatever. Some songs you just think, come on, get to the best bit already :guitar:
