Well, Talk, Talk wrote zero songs about travelling to a black hole in a rocket named after Don Quixote's horse, so they have that going for them.

1970s: Permanent Waves*

1980s: Power Windows

1990s: Roll The Bones

2000s: Snakes & Arrows

2010s: Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland

* - I am definitely NOT in the camp that calls Permanent Waves a 70's album, but for the purposes of this poll I will since the competition is too stiff in the 80s and I don't really love any of the albums that came out in the actual 1970s.

Edit: You know what, since this is a deserted island scenario, I'm taking Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland with me. That's waaaaay better than Clockwork Angels or Vapor Trails Remixed!

Hemispheres

Grace Under Pressure

Roll The Bones

Snakes and Arrows (My Favorite Headache?)

Clockwork Angels

I'd sure miss some of the songs I left off whenever I hear some of the lesser songs I ended up with.

Could I choose a live album? That would change this considerably.

Different Stages would be a great choice.

You moved PeW to the 70s, which was a shrewd play that set you up nicely, and then squandered it by picking PoW as the 80s album.

If you move PeW to the 70s, the competition couldn't be less stiff than the 80s. MP beats every other album from that decade senseless.
