Ancient Ways
Just listened to a couple hours of random Dan music. Amazing music from a band that basically made their own genre a la rush that will never be seen again. So much good stuff but I'm feeling like only a fool would say that is my current fave,

Blue J
67 seems far too soon, doesn't it? Yes, it does. Really sad. I wasn't aware that Becker wasn't doing the Dan tour this summer. I didn't know he was having health problems lately. What a terrible loss. He made some tremendous music during his time.

New_World_Man
I heard about this also. Sad news. Apparently no cause of death has been announced. RIP Walter. The funny thing is I've only recently really warmed up to Steely Dan. I'll have to get more of their stuff especially now.

RUSHHEAD666
NO WAY!!!!!! I saw Steely Dan in Vegas after the Warriors lost Game 7 to the stupid "HAV"E BEENS! Steve Wijnrood opened and I thought he was better than the Dan but MAN! So glad I saw them before Walter passed. I can't believe it. Donald must be devastated.
