bluefox4000
You know how you might have an Artist who you KNOW is amazing.....but for some reason you hardly bother with? that was petty for me. thanks to this thread i thank that ends. Mick Adam got me into him properly last year. When I have time and patience I will collect his best works. the first 5 records alone are a great place to start. It's testament to how much I love his work and himself that I am a fan. Besides, the millennium brought us The Rising and Magic. Everything else is an afterthought.

Segue Myles
I love seeing both these artists get love here. Another I sort of compare to both that I adore is Garth Brooks.
Del_Duio
Oh my God, Tom Petty by a mile. I don't see how Springsteen's the boss of jack shit. I think he's easily one of the most over-rated musicians in the history of anything.
Del_Duio
Petty. I have never liked Springsteen all to much. I find his voice raspy and annoying. "RASPY AND ANNOYING? HIS VOICE IS LIKE AN ANGEL, I SAYS!"http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/a5/50/80/a550807041aa4a12797a812366a5e0ee.jpg
