Rutlefan
The Bangles!, based purely on their first album. If the Corrs kicked their drummer brother out of the band, I could go for them, mostly cuz they're just sooo nice to look at (I guess they're good musically if you're into that stuff, like my wife). Had a bit of a crush on Susanna back in the day. Cool video; Leonard Nimoy is icing on the cake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj7OJeyhq2Q Any other Bangles fans out there! Yay, let's hear from ya! (just kidding, I loathe Walk Like an Egyptian, Manic Monday, Hazy Shade of Garfunkel, etc. Susanna was still looking good though.) Rutlefan
It's a good thing Frank was making music and not designing rockets or we'd still be staring wistfully at the Moon.
Mosher
Maybe it's the current nature of the band, but I went with The Coathangers. I really am digging them right now. Also, Bikini Kill? Two years ago I would have said L7. I still love L7, but the Coathangers are the band for me right now. On that note, Hoff's recent 'Someday' album is quite good.

Rick N. Backer
Interesting list. For me it's the Go-Gos. We Got the Beat and Our Lips Are Sealed are still great fun when they come on the radio.

Fordgalaxy
Seriously... KiTTiE back in the day. Another Ozzfest band. http://youtu.be/sY0MdNAlMSA These gals would get my vote if it wasn't for the yelling/screaming, but damn, they can rock it. As it is, I'd probably go with The Bangles or maybe The Go-Gos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3ThppM3IhA

Rutlefan
Bananarama, or Zepparella, depending on my mood. It's a cruel, cruel cover: Edited January 17, 2017 by Rutlefan

Mosher
The Bangles may not be hard rock, but they are a rock band. Their cover of Hazy Shade of Winter was certainly a rock song.
