Again, off the top of my head and everything could be subject to change if I sat down and thought about it. But at the moment my top 10 would be:

1. Presto

2. Dreamline

3. Bravado

4. The Pass

5. Everyday Glory

6. Cold Fire

7. Scars

8. Speed of Love

9. Alien Shore

10. War Paint

Very hard era to pick. In some ways the hardest since many of the good songs from Presto & Counterparts are all equally good.

Time and Motion

T4E

Show Don't Tell

Animate

Alien Shore

Driven

Dreamline

Roll The Bones

Ghost of A Chance

Bravado

My son will be heartbroken to learn that I left Nobody's Hero off. That and Roll The Bones are his two favorite Rush songs. :)

As this is my least-favorite era, I rarely listen to these albums in full. In order:

Time and Motion

(this stands head and shoulders above everything else in this era.

I just replayed this song because of you two...well it's playing now...

Heck I forgot how great this is!

Its a criminally under rated song.

I will seek it out...but I'm honestly not sure if I still own Test For Echo.

Ack, that's supposed to be "Where's My Thing," not "Leave That Thing Alone." Not a fan of the latter.

Somebody here really likes The Big Wheel? I've honestly never seen that before. It often gets mocked as "Rush trying to sound like Cher" lol

"Looking for luuurrrv..."

A decent song that is rendered unlistenable by its chorus.

Not for me. Love the chorus!

The Big Wheel is a good example of a song that's sort of just OK but lacks ANY sort of oomph or edge or power or the tricky musicial ju-jitsu Rush built a career on. Aside from Dreamline Where's My Thing and a few other scattered moments, Rush was really playing it unusually safe in the songwriting department during RTB. Boring almost. Rupert Hine's glossy mix was the icing on the cake of the half great half mediocrity of Bones
