Tragic Idol is amazing! I give the nod to Faith because I have a bond with that album. The title track really helped me a lot to wake up. As for the self-titled, the parts they nearly go off track are likely the parts they went "oof, we said we wouldn't do that this time!" and corrected their course haha f**k Metallica. Paradise Lost forever.1 point

Paradise Lost Paradise Lost (8/10) In Requiem (9/10) Faith Divides Us, Death Unites Us (10/10) Tragic Idol (10/10) OK so my fav of this bunch was actually Tragic Idol. that album is just fantastic. Faith Divides us is great as well and i gave it a 10. i just found TI just a little more enjoyable. The self Titled is a weird ass album. They seriously sound like odd duck pop Metallica. and hear me it it works BUT they were moments on that album where i swear things nearly go off the tracks Mick1 point

Well, I'm 57 and I don't regret mine. I do like the artistic value of some of them. I do agree some of them look like a blurry mess. Those won't age well. I feel slightly less self conscious of my skinny arms with my bicep(?) tats. It's interesting to see that lots of younger people have lots of ink. Office workers, not just blue collar. Noticing more neck tattos lately.1 point

ok so i'm familiar with this band. i've heard mostly every album album except from the very early and more recent ones. i've gone back and started at the self titled. What a great album to re-esrablish a band. It's consistant enough for older but it's coommercial enough for new fans. One tiny note going through this bands history. The drum seat may has well had a an ejector seat on it. It's like recently........"ok one or two albums......get da fukk out i wouldn't want that job. i mean until Medusa. BUT......new on the icon re-record. i'm Nitpicking but it does make tons of albums have different feel. Mick1 point

It started out with a rough first season, just like Trailer Park Boys. They then got into a rhythm with humor that just works for me and hilariously high quality camera work for what kind of show it is1 point

I could not get into that show for the life of me, even though I really wanted to like it.1 point

Also so sad for Jagr when he watched Van Damme's "Sudden Death" and counted he was -4 in the game.1 point

We used to watch this with great dedication when we were elementary kids and it was on Bowling for Dollars or whatever. I'm not sure why our parents let us. It's pretty emotional (woman sent to death row when possibly innocent) and the final scene, with all the details of the California gas chamber at the time, is pretty gory. Anyway, Susan Hayward won an Oscar for her role (she's very good) and they have a lot of good films on TCM now for Oscar season. But, yeah, kind of like telling your kids to go watch "In Cold Blood." (In their defense, our moms worked and also the friend I used to watch with had 9 brothers and sisters! Moms were just glad we were watching tv! )1 point

Didn't even notice the whole "leaderboard" gimmick until now, how long has this been around for? Looks like i've "won" one day.... Hell yeah!1 point

I've added a bit of a twist to my "new album every day" thing I did last year. One of the major problems I ran into last year was a lack of time to truly digest a record. The real stand-outs were ones I liked immediately. I swapped to "one album a week, but I have to listen to it 7 times". Albums I otherwise would have written off after a single listen are now growing on me. I'll even stick to it through bad albums to really make sure I hate them. I'm hoping to make it to near 100 albums still. I've been listening to a lot despite the 7X rule.1 point

I think this is one of Neil's most underrated lyrics and seldom quoted. The use of "wrench" is brilliant... "I feel the sense of possibilities, I feel the wrench of hard realities".1 point

1ga Swiatek hasn't had much luck with some of these Eastern Block girls. If it's not a Czech, it's a Ukranian. If it's not a Ukranian, it's a Russian. Still, she is comfortably in the lead and should remain no.1 at least until the French Open.1 point

Adrian Belew would be worth seeing. I am hoping to get some tickets to Peter Frampton, he's doing a short tour of small venues. Will be here in April.1 point

David Bowie - 1980 Floor Show. I played that "Dollars in Drag" vinyl boot to death back in the eighties. Now YT has the original Midnight Special show in near perfect quality. I miss the comedy bits that TAKRL put in between the songs though1 point
