Broccoli rabe. Bitter, bitter, bitter. And I keep trying it because I'm half Italian and I'm supposed to like it, but I keep hating it. I do like broccoli and broccolini, though.

Don't like turnips, either. Other than those, I love veggies.

if it's made the right way it's very good.  i get it at a place that makes with with alot of garlic and broth, sausage over a pasta.  sprinkle some good cheese over the top and it's good.

That's what I'm saying. I've had it every which way you can make it. I've never liked it.  fists crying.gif

Put a little vinegar in the water, it takes the bitterness out.

As for me, the one I can't stand is okra.
I'll eat any other veggie.

I've had pickle okra that was pretty damn good.

Someone recommended I try fresh sliced beets sautéed in olive oil, lemon juice, salt & pepper. It was not bad, really helped moderating the dirt flavor.

Any time I see a recipe for something like "Harvest Root Vegetable Soup", I know to skip it.  Yuk.  Those are always the same off-putting shade of orangey-brown.  Like baby food.

I've been thinking on this one, and really, I've realized that if you have to dig it out of the earth, I am not eating it.  The exception is potatoes.  I loves me some spuds.

If they're almost completely water, that sure is some vile tasting water.

Ironically, I love pickles, but cucumbers - 062802puke_prv.gif

Okra is one of those vegetables that is good prepared in one way but horrible in another way. I have to eat it fried, I love it! But I will not eat it stewed, it's slimy.

I also don't like sprouts. Carrots, no matter how they are prepared, raw, or cooked, I just don't like. Too bad when I get a prepackaged salad, carrots are always in there.

I love cucumbers, but usually I eat them with in vinegar or in oil and vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste.

I've had cucumbers on a turkey sandwich. Very good with salt and pepper.

Hate peppers, onions and mushrooms, the latter mostly due to texture.  I can't get past eating something that feels like it came off the bottom of my shoe  062802puke_prv.gif
