Lorraine
It's just that he sounds vulnerable in this interview, and I can remember only one other thing I read Geddy say in the eighties that showed any vulnerability. He's always seemed contained and in control in any interview I've watched or read. Lorraine, I need to know what thing he said in the eighties is. When he talked about how they came home from I forget which tour in the mid to later eighties - and they were all sick and tired, and when they got home they found they were strangers in their own homes. I think Geddy made an offhand remark that his marriage almost bottomed out. It's in the Martin Popoff book Contents Under Pressure.

HemiBeers
I'm sort of hoping for a Feedback II album. Polka versions of 70s disco hits. and a one, and a two, and a three.... They just need to do something so abhorrent that they won't be bothered again. Edited January 29, 2016 by 2112FirstStreet

Lucas
But you’re saying that you and Alex could do an album together, not as Rush? Yeah. Are you considering it? It’s an option. And what would it sound like? [Laughs] Probably like Rush without Neil. HELL YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/rush/images/albums/rush-cover.jpg Edited January 29, 2016 by Lucas

fraroc
The writing was on the wall from the beginning. In the end, the decision to stop touring was influenced by one person and one person only. So stop trying to say that it was a mutual decision that they all considered. Geddy and Alex simply did what Neil wanted without any input of what they would want. JARG
The writing was on the wall from the beginning.I agree. No one should be surprised to see this coming, least of all Geddy and/or Alex.In the end, the decision to stop touring was influenced by one person and one person only.Yup, and that one person turned out to be Neil. Why all the pissing and moaning?
