Toshiya (Dir En Grey)

Wow! I saw ISIS open for TOOL once. Very good shit.

You know what sucks about ISIS is that Islam Terrorist Group overseas. I believe ISIS means the Egyptian Goddess of Fertility. My now EX wife and I named our first born daughter Zoe Isis.

Well she is pissed off now as an 18 year old. I don't blame her. I feel like an idiot but I had no idea about this terrorist group back in 1996! So the good news is when she gets married she is going to drop ISIS and keep my last name! Ramer!

Perhaps things happen for a reason.

I know this isn't SOCN but man I hope the world can destroy that scum.

So on that note,

NIKKi SIXX!

70s Geddy Lee

80s Geddy Lee

90s Geddy Lee

00s Geddy Lee

10s Geddy Lee

Now give a real answer

This is my real answer. There is no better Bass player then Geddy.

But this is a Rush Forum! So of course many will say this!

As Geddy will always be in my top 5 bassists he isn't the greatest.

I would take Les over Geddy by a hair and both admire each other!

Hmmmmm

By the way your picture of Geddy is probably the greatest picture I have have ever seen of him.

Yeah, they're quite an underrated band. Glad they broke up when they did (not because of the terrorist group, cause they didn't put a single bad album IMO). I like them more than Tool (though they're still great!) actually. That Isis/Tool tour must've been a great package.

Wow! You like ISIS more than TOOL? That's COOL! LOL!

I used to love TOOL! Saw every tour from when they were on a side stage at Loolapolozza. SP?

I am bored now with them. Same old boring videos.

Danny Carey is the only one in TOOL who is beyond TALENTED! JMO

John Paul Jones

Overshadowed by his band mates, this guy doesn't get the credit he deserves. Brilliant writer and player. He should make the list for When The Levee Breaks alone.

Isis will always be the Egyptian goddess, and I think that is a wonderful middle name. Hopefully all the terrorist crap will blow over and Zoe can again be proud of her name.

lemmy

I will never forget seeing Motorhead at the Concord Pavilion! Lemmy was left on stage by the band alone has his bass sounded like a million machine guns going off! He then put his bass next to his giant amp and left it there. It was the loudest bass I have ever heard in my life. As a matter of fact Motorhead is the loudest band I have ever heard in my life and I've seen hundreds and hundreds of shows! I was deaf for two days!
