graxxus
Don't start duplicate polls of ones you created yourself earlier in the year in the Feedback subforum - you know who you are.It was an experiment to see if the denizens of SOCN were any smarter than those in the Feedback subforum. Answer: Not really. Quite a few of them chose the turgidness of S&A and tinniness of Presto over the sublime quality of the Golden Age. Ahh the Golden age! Began with AFTK and ended with HYF!

RUSHHEAD666
Having an obnoxious title like, "Is Neil Peart a Selfish Prick". It is a very unfair question for a poll because it makes anyone that says yes look bad Hahaha! Obnoxious Titles? I thought you were going to mention my existence here on the Forum! I'm obnoxious and a selfish prick! Well not really but I am sure many would assume that. Hence my divorce......... Sorry. Eventually I will shut up. Well not really. I need to be banned for life. :)
RUSHHEAD666
I hate that guy who keeps bumping his pathetic hangout chat. Dont you realize nobody wants to talk to you?!? Your_Lion
Im guessing some hate poor grammar. I fail at this often. Honestly, my IQ is that of a 3rd grader who has multiple concussions If you're a Rush fan, then it's likely that your IQ is much higher than average. Just don't type "your" when you mean to say "you're". That's when people release the hounds on you..... ;)The main one I hate is when people type "of" instead of "have". They really shouldn't of done that :tsk: (but, thankfully, I don't see that one much on TRF) Edited November 6, 2015 by Your_Lion

I love Grace Under Pressure as well.Whenever I see Grace Under Pressure written as P/G, the first album I think of is Physical Graffiti, but then I used to be on a Zeppelin forum years ago ...either that or I should start calling the album Pressure Over Grace http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/confused/confused0006.gif

The Silver Age is when they started telling proper stories.Didn't know that about Supes during the Golden Age. Here's Cap in the Golden Age flat out decking Hitler when the real Hitler was still actually aroundhttp://www.comics.pop-cult.com/A-G/images/Captain-America-1.jpg Then he's revived in the Silver Age. This is also the dawn of ALL of Marvel's staple characters like Fantastic Four, Spidey, X-Men, Hulk, Avengers, etc.http://www.comic-covers.com/Marvel/MarvelA-B/Avengers/images/AVEN004.JPG Then there's the Bronze Age with a lot more anti-heroes introduced like Wolverine & Punisher. But before them was this guy. A very different style of writing: http://www.coverbrowser.com/image/ghost-rider/1-1.jpg I can see a lot of similarities between the history of Marvel comics and Rush's own evolution.
Blue J
Acronyms used for albums and songs PeWPoW WTF ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Write the ******* song title ;) Yes, this! (Although I actually have caught myself doing it once or twice too, just recently)... If we used acronyms like that for all of the albums, then CP is actually not proper for Counterparts, as it is just one word. So that would be C. Likewise, Hemispheres would be H, Signals would be S, and Presto would be P. But people don't do that. (Oh, and the debut album would be R. But mostly it's just referred to as "the debut", or "the first album", in conversation- which takes even longer to type than just calling it "Rush"!) They must love inconsistency, that's all I can figure.
