DirkPrattLerxst Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Does anyone get sick of Subdivisions? They play it a lot but I think it kicks ass! 1
GabesCavesOfIce Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Yes, great song. Most fans seem to like it, yet crowd always seems to snooze through it live. 2
mrfriendly Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Let's just say I definitely won't have any problem if it wasn't in the set, that's not to say I'm sick of it. This tour has been interesting to say the least. When the leaked set came out I thought RTB would be terrible as that is one song I had been sick of for some time. But I got to say with the video and the way they have been playing it, its kind of been a highlight surprisingly for the first set for me. 1
Bigbobby10 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 No, I will never get sick of the song, it's my favorite song by them. 4
rtrushfan Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yes and no. I like it whenever I hear it live, but I do wish they would play a different song from "Signals" like "New World Man" or "The Weapon". 1
EagleMoon Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 It's not a song I listen to too much anymore because I played it to death years ago. I agree that I'd like to hear something different from Signals, though Subdivisions does go down well live.
satchmothesnowdog Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I'm sick to fuggin death of YYZ. Subdivisions I love 2
snowdog212 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yea not one I want to hear again but hey they like playing it so be it. RTB kicks ass this tour I think the new vid for'the rap part gets people more into'it instead of the same ole skelton just seems they got lazy with it
softfilter Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yes' it's finally getting tiresome to listen to live. Tom Sawyer been a  for many tours now...
nicky6 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I wouldn't mind tom sawyer if he would try singing it like the album version once in a while.. 2
PolarizeMe Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I wouldn't mind it being in the set, yet I wouldn't mind it not being in the set.
satchmothesnowdog Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I wouldn't mind tom sawyer if he would try singing it like the album version once in a while..I dont think he can any longer
Weakly Criminal Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Subdivisions got a huge response in Dallas. I’d pay to hear them play Chopsticks. 1
LedRush Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yes, great song. Most fans seem to like it, yet crowd always seems to snooze through it live. Is there a synth song that the audience doesn't snooze through? To answer the OP, I don't get sick of the song. 2
Jaminbenb Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I can take it or leave it....better tunes from that album I'd like to hear....
Cygnus 2112 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I like Subdivisions, YYZ is the song I don't need to hear again. 2
mrfriendly Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Pretty much anything off Moving Pictures apart from Camera Eye feels so overplayed and obviously all hardcore fans have probably heard that album to death. I did notice in Bristow too Subdivisions got a big roar once those keys kicks in and it does work as a set opener or closer. 1
Aikenrooster Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 No, subdivisions is my favorite, and the anthem of my youth. I wouldn't have been mad if they had played Chemistry though. 1
LedRush Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 No, subdivisions is my favorite, and the anthem of my youth. I wouldn't have been mad if they had played Chemistry though. For all the Tai Shan I give Signals, I'd love to hear Chemistry live. 1
WIDE-ANGLE WATCHER Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I will never get tired of and definitely never get sick of Subdivisions. It's an awesome song...from an awesome time...with awesome lyrics....and...you guessed it...awesome music.
geezer Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I still like hearing Subdivisions live, but I guess next time I won't scream "WOW!"
