Toto

How is Toto underrated?

Toto has 8-10 very good songs and albums full of boring, mundane crap.

I'd rather go to a dentist than listen to Hydra or Fahrenheit, for example. :D

"Endless" is very underrated song though. It kicks ass.

Hence underrated......people think they're crap.....i don't, lol

Earl,

You are going to love Billy Idol.

Just saw him in NJ the other night, he was just fantastic.

I don't have any of Steve's stuff, but they are on my list.

Kings & Queens of the Underground just might be my favourite release of 2014.

Enjoy the big rock show!

Mahavishnu Orchestra.. Good shit.

Holy Shit! Welcome to the forum! You just hit a home run! John McLaughlin is one of the greatest guitarists in all of the world!

Billy Cobham? Are you shitting me? One of the best ever!! John is on "Bitches Brew!" What a wonderful wicked bitch of a record filled with musical wizardry!

"Birds Of Fire!"

"The Inner Mounting Flame!"

To be fair, both McLaughlin and Cobham are renowned "Giants" within the Jazz Rock world, and deservedly so.

Under-rated for me are guys like Bill Nelson and Frank Marino.

Wouldn't putting it on the greatest hits album mean it isn't underrated?

Her guitar playing on Dirty Diana is awesome! Not as good as EVH on Beat It but still :haz: worthy.

If you want good power pop, I recommend Marvelous 3. I got Hey! Album in my senior year of high school when Freak of the Week came out and could not stop listening to it.

Donnie Iris! One of the most powerful voices in rock!

I've seen him live multiple times. Him and the Crusiers bring it every time.

Check out 'Ah Leaha' 'Love is like a Rock' 'Do you Compute' 'That the way love aught to be' for some classic tunes by this man!

Rahsaan Roland Kirk

He could play two different woodwind instruments out of opposite sides of his mouth and play different melodies on them simultaneously.

He was also blind, by the way.

I always seem to bring these guys up in some way, but no denying how friggin' great these guitarists are:

Jim Mogine & Martin Rotsey of Midnight Oil.

A lot of their songs, especially earlier stuff are hard to figure out because of how well they play their different parts and make it sound like one whole kick in the ass without drowning the other out.

They're the 2 guys on the right in this picture below.
