Unobtrusive Companion
QUOTE (tas7 @ Jun 17 2012, 10:25 PM) Only No 76 in the UK. On downloads only, the fanpacks don't count in the chart. Not too shabby really, but if they'd added the fanpack sales I'm sure this would have been top 10. Shame.
ThinkingBig
QUOTE (trenken @ May 30 2012, 06:21 AM)Why does it matter? Their albums dont sell more than 500k copies anyway so it shouldnt matter to us how much it sells. I doubt the band even really cares all that much. It's been a long time since they sold a lot of albums. Album sales are very poor in the UK at the moment, only approx 13,000 needed for Number 1... just sayin' # 2 The album (UK = July 9th) is #

cygnify
Considering the roughly 100k copies sold, and the average price at Best Buy / Amazon, that means the album netted..... wait for it.... cue Dr. Evil..... ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!

Three Putt
Seems like management could have done a better job predicting when to release the album where it would be a no 1. Last week perhaps? It would have been a cool story.

This proves that is recession proof! Proves that Rush fans buy Rush albums. I'll bet the next album sells about 90,000 copies. Mark it down now. Rush fans tend to be older and still like a physical media. Usher fans are far younger and far more likely to just do downloads. Probably aren't a lot of people PINING for a vinyl copy of Usher's album either. We're old and, largely, set in our ways. Nothing much will change that.
