  1. Wow, I've been out of the loop for awhile and had no idea that they were putting out another DVD, sounds awesome can't wait.
  2. Happy birthday to one of the greatest guitarists ever!
  3. I truly hope you right Sir, about the 10 years that is! Me too man! If not ah well, but I have to see this band before they hang it up! I do agree about them needing rest and being with their families for sure though.
  4. I personally think they have at least 10 years left and possibly 2 albums in that timeframe, but I could be very wrong on that one.
  5. Happy 9th! I have been here for a little over a year and have just recently returned, I really enjoy this place and hope it remains open for many, many more years to come!
  6. I remember the member maps, those were cool! Thanks for the answer, wasn't sure, but it looked like it had an overhaul and looks really awesome (not that it didn't before by any means)
  7. As you can see I joined the forum last summer and things have changed quite a bit since I just came back recently. Did the site get a complete overhaul or something? I have to say I quite like it.
  8. I actually just found out and came here to post about it. I didn't see a thread on the first page, and it didn't even occur to me that it would be way back on the second. The "absence" did surprise me, but instead of looking further, I just went ahead and started a thread. Serves me right to have egg on my face like this for jumping the gun! I'd love it if a moderator could close this thread. I vote they pin it! I second the notion.

    Chain Lightning

Honestly I felt kind of stupid posting a topic about this song at first, but now I am glad I did, glad everyone is discovering or rediscovering it, and honestly there are so many songs in Rush's catalog that this can be said about.
  10. Two questions, one thread. ;) What are some of the best Rush fan sites? (Not forums. but sites with lots of info and stuff) and are there any websites specifically dedicated to reviewing Rush albums or live shows?

    Rush Collection

See I kinda wish I would have waited to start my Rush collection, although I would have been missing out on a lot of awesome music, I own the 1997 remasters so there is really no need for me to get the Sector sets, since I heard the sound is about the same, that and the fact that I am definitely not an audiophile.

    Rush Collection

Just added Exit Stage Left (CD and DVD), A Show of Hands (CD and DVD), Time Machine (CD), Different Stages (CD), Snakes and Arrows (CD set),

    Rush Collection

Yours is more complete then mine, but one live album you need IMHO is Different Stages because of Disc 3: Live at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1978. Has 5 of the 6 songs from AFTK on it. Thanks for that. I am probably more than likely going to pick up the one's I am missing.

    Chain Lightning

Just listened to this song, WOW! This has to be another one of those 'hidden' gems in the Rush catalog. I say hidden mainly because they honestly shouldn't be, but all of their material is so damn good it's easy for some of it to get overlooked.
