1 of the 7 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Super 8 - what a cute movie, especially if you love the 80's. Green Lantern - trying too hard to be Top Gun/not very original/not funny when trying to be. The Help - Yes, I finally got around to it! Great movie.
JohnnyBlaze Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 QUOTE (1 of the 7 @ Feb 5 2012, 01:23 PM) Green Lantern - trying too hard to be Top Gun/not very original/not funny when trying to be. Screw Ryan Reynolds. And screw those filmmakers for trying to make it a Ryan Reynolds movie with his same old tired-ass jokes/deliveries.

ILSnwdog Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 The Grey with Liam Neeson. The movie was OK, but it was pretty damn dark and depressing.

He totally put that movie over the top. Totally agree. Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa was great as well. I was just reading that the part of Landa was originally considered for DiCaprio. Also Adam Sandler was recruited for Donny Donowitz (The Bear Jew). Makes me wonder how the film would turn out with those guys...So glad Waltz got the job as Landa. Well deserving of Best Supporting Actor Oscar for IB... Edited February 7, 2012 by Test4VitalSigns
invisible airwave Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Hanna Blanchett's a total badass in this.
Cowtothesky Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Hostel II This is a seriously twisted movie. I don't normally like these kind of films, but the story is pretty interesting once you get past the bloodbath of gelatin and food coloring.
