Segue Myles
Jurassic World Not perfect but way better than that Lost World POS. I have yet to see 3 but I'll wait until it hits HBO Now since they play Universal movies and it already completed its premium rotation with Starz where the studio was previously at. Jurassic Park- 9/10The Lost World: Jurassic Park- 7/10Jurassic Park 3- 6/10Jurassic World- 9/10 Yeah, a dip in the middle! The reason I cannot give the first one a 10 is the novel. I love the characters as they were written, and watching the film after reading the novel, the changes were just too much. And the action was way more graphic! Book wins, but the film is A MASTERFUL blockbuster.
Principled Man
http://braindamaged.fr/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/kingsman.jpg I was not impressed. Some parts were witty and interesting, but for the most part, I found it to be redundant, crude and vulgar. I give it a 3.5 out of 10. :boo hiss: :boo hiss:

That One Guy
Bought Full Metal Jacket at Walmart last night for five bucks. Always been a favorite. My ringtone for several months has been the audio from the "Get Some!" scene in the helicopter. Gritty movie.

I am definitely one of the minority group. It really turned me off. I must be getting old and prudish, as the #1 turnoff was the 10,000 F-bombs in the dialogue. With Firth and Caine in the film, I had expected something more sophisticated. The church scene actually had me say out loud, "Is this going to end soon?" Hearing "Free Bird" cranked up loud didn't help much, either. Ironically, my mother loved it. She saw it in the theater and said it was great, so I bought the Blu-ray. I'm watching this crude talking, violent film with my 75-year old mother, and then towards the end, the Swedish princess asks our Hero to do her up the asshole.......Needless to say, I felt rather uncomfortable. I don't recall all that much f bombage in the movie. Maybe films like Wolf of Wall Street (500+ F's) and Django Unchained (100+ uses of n*****?) desensitize a little. I loved how anti PC it was and that it's one of those rare blockbuster action movies like that, the last few Fast Furious movies and that new Mad Max that actually delivered on it's promise in an era of too many lackluster CGI reboots, sequels and comic book movies. He negotiates so many F-bombs to be uttered in the final script before he signs?

I was so used to hearing it with the proper Australian voices...why mess with it? Rod in Toronto
A piece of trivia about Mad Max: there´s a scene where a guy says "I´m a rocker...I´m a roller...I´m a right out of controller!!!". This comes from the AC/DC song Rocker, from Let There Be Rock.
