burgeranacoke
A couple of WWI period films. Paths of Glory -1957: One of the GREAT movies. Directed by Kubrick and the starring role is played by Kirk Douglas. -->"]General Mireau: I can't understand these armchair officers, fellas trying to fight a war from behind a desk, waving papers at the enemy, worrying about whether a mouse is gonna run up their pants leg.-->"]Colonel Dax: I don't know, General. If I had the choice between mice and Mausers, I think I'd take the mice every time. Beneath Hill 60 - 2010 Well worth watching, especially if you are interested in the period. Based on a quite astonishing true story of the Australian Hill 60 Tunnelers. The movie is pretty taut and realistic.trivia- the box made by triffen is the actual box.Directed by Jeremey Sims. treeduck
Jason X - Surprisingly entertaining, like a cross between an episode of Andromeda (probably because it's set in space and two actresses from that show are in it) and Friday the 13th. Halloween H20: 20 Years LaterHalloween: Resurrection The most abysmal entries in the series. No Dr Loomis for obvious reasons, Jamie Lee Curtis acting like she's still in A Fish Called Wanda, probably the worst actor to play the Shape of them all, a tedious plot, LL Cool J as a security guard/wannabe romance novelist, weak ending. And the other one was total crap with Busta Rymes busting through doors saying: "Trick or Treat Motherfuckker! Terrible stuff! Looking back over the whole series, they get increasingly worse as they go along. I like the first four films a lot. 5 is ok, 6 is not so good. The remake with Tyler Mane and Malcolm McDowell is pretty good, I'd watch that again. The second one is shit.

treeduck
Super. This was funny. Ellen Page is becoming one of my favourite actresses, Rainn Wilson and Kevin Bacon were good in this too.
H. P. L.
The Company MenA good movie from a couple years ago, but still relevant with people losing their jobs. Nice bunch of tv actors, Tommy Lee Jones and - sigh - Ben Affleck.

Damn, I'm the only one who loves this movie. ALLLL BY MYSELF. default/sad.png I tried to like it, but I was struggling badly to stay awake during the hot girl werewolf segment, during the Brian Cox/Halloween midget puppet sequence I was knashing my teeth and slapping my forehead and the weird principal and the fat kid bit just made me annoyed and bored at the same time! Meanwhile, I like Leslie Bib but she was killed in the first five minutes...

Let's reboot the Alien series, but the first one will be a prequel to the original 1979 movie. It can't fail.
