John Vernon did have the best lines. He's just as hilarious in Chained Heat too. Is he in that too? I'll be watching that pretty soon... Cool. It's a pretty good horror film actually. A good hammer-style medieval witch-hunting romp with echoes of Roger Corman's Edgar Allan Poe series. It's like a cross between the Masque of the Red Death and Curse of the Werewolf. It has a great atmosphere and Vincent Price is on great form. It might scare your girlfriend though, the first half an hour it seems like all the women are getting either their shirt ripped off, raped, scourged, shot, stabbed, or hit with flying eggs!
