How was it?

Weak. The Bruce Lee clips were great of course, but they've all been seen before, 99% anyway. The rest of it consists of likes of Mickey Rourke and Ed O'Neil shocking us by telling us how cool they think Bruce was. And Dana White telling us Bruce Lee would love MMA if he'd lived to see it. And some fool out of the Black Eyed Peas presented us with his best homoerotic dance moves and guess what he learned it all from watching Bruce Lee!  In other words the Bruce clips are great but the rest is pointless trash! Avoid this and watch Enter the Dragon, that's what I'm gonna do next time... :hail:

Enter the Dragon is the best martial arts movie ever made anyhow, IMO.

We saw Catch Me if you Can, with Leonardo DiCaprio as a check swindler trying to escape an FBI agent played by Neil Peart Tom Hanks.

It was really good, I'm surprised I missed this one. It's been out for 10 years or so I believe.

Also Purple Rain came in the mail the other day for NetFlix but the thing was CRACKED.

So no Jerome and The Kid for me until they send another one.

It's amazing how you can miss films entirely. I watched Night of the Generals for the first time the other night and that came out in 1967!

The omega man.

Another post-Apocalypse film, and a good one. I saw the 1964 Vincent Price version of this called "The Last Man on Earth", a few weeks back. That's worth watching too.

 yeah not not into post apocalyptic movies, just watching a lot of them  . will have to check out the last man on earth with vincent price. The omega man reminded me of' I am legend'.

All three are based on the same book, I am Legend by Richard Matheson. I'll watch the Will Smith version in the near future and I'd like to watch the Omega man again (even though I've seen it about 18 times over the years).

A bit lacklustre. Good idea, part alien part predator, just missing a bit of magic.

Is it worth a look? :smoke:

Yeah, it has got a bit to chew on with psychological tension built up, more could of been built around this. Bordering on t.v movie though in overall effect, if not budget.

I'll probably make it part of one of my horror triple bills of the near future... :guitar:

I really enjoyed this one. One of the best post-apocalypse movies I've seen in a while. Denzel Washington kicks so much ass and is so charismatic you can feel his feelings even when he opens a cupboard. Gary Oldman overdoes it as über-bad guy.

There's even a subtle critique of organised religion as a tool to manipulate masses. The ending is a little weak, tho.

True story, the brothers who directed this went to the same high school I did. Dead Presidents is their best movie so far.

Skyfall. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say that I really enjoyed it. The flavor of the film may be more sweet or sour for fans of the first two Craig films. Casino Royale is my top Craig Bond film and probably in my top 5 overall.

I was wondering when I saw the trailer, why was Al Bundy in a documentary about Bruce Lee.

I will not waste my time on this, thank you.

A pretty good werewolf flick with some funny moments.

Best lines:

Private Spoon about to be killed by a werewolf: I hope I give you the shits you fuckking wimp!

Sergeant: My guts are out Coop!

Cooper: Put them back!

Sergeant: They're not gonna fuckking fit!

Cooper: Of course they'll fit!

Cooper: Where's Spoon?

[a hand pulls a watch out of a pile of guts]

Sergeant: There is no Spoon!
