"I'd love to hear 2112 straight through.

I think that's something that would be fun to try.

Do you think it's possible?

Oh yeah, it's definitely possible."

I'm crossing my fingers smile.gif

There's no way Geddy Lee is singing Something For Nothing, it ain't happening without cheating in some way.

( I believe he was referring to the song rather than the album )

Do you think you guys might perform another album on a future tour?
I think we would. I would love to try that idea again. I thought it was really fun. And given the fact that we play for almost three hours, you can do that and still have lots of time left over to play other stuff. We had time for our newer songs and we had time for more obscure songs. So it kind of works in the way we present ourselves.

I'd love to hear 2112 straight through.

Context is everything dear boy...

I still think he is talking about the song tongue.gif

I can only imagine how hard it would be for Geddy to sing Lessons

NOOOOOOO!!!!

already saw it on the test for echo tour....plus it would just take up time that would be better spent playing: analog kid, grand designs, kid gloves, jacobs ladder, lock and key, time and motion...should i go on?...

Why 2112? Do Signals, or Permanent Waves, or HEY. MAYBE f***ing HEMISPHERES

Ged could barely do Hemispheres in the studio 35 years ago! laugh.gif

Side 2 is fine, but side one, no chance. No way he could pull it off live. I'd be satisfied with a musical snippet, though.

And even less so 17 years ago.

Oh, dear. So, writing songs in a key your singer can't sing turns out to be a bad idea. Who knew? cool.gif

Incidentally that isn't half bad. Much better than what you hear on the actual Hemispheres tour. Sure he's cracking a bit, but at least he has vocal control, and isn't warbly.
